Sie ist Style Director der amerikanischen Elle und hat selbst einen unverkennbaren Stil: Kate Lanphear. Ihren eigenen Stil kann man wohl am ehesten als “Casual-Rockstar-Chic” beschreiben. Miss Lanphear trägt Bandshirts kombiniert zu Skinny Jeans, schickem Blazer und High Heels und sieht damit einfach immer umwerfend aus! Ich persönlich bin vor allem Fan ihrer platinblonden “Volahiku”-Frisur. Und je länger ich mir ihre Bilder ansehe, desto ernsthafter überlege ich, selbst wieder weg von Braun und hin zu Platinblond zu gehen. Was meint ihr?

She’e the style director of US Elle and has a signature style herself: Kate Lanphear. Her own style can be described with “casual rockstar chic”. Miss Lanphear wears bandshirts combined with skinny jeans, chic blazers and high heels and she looks fabulous doing so! I’m also a huge fan of her short in the back, long in the front hair. The longer I look at her pics, the more I think of going away from brown and getting platinum blond hair again. What do you think?

Wo ist sie hin, die relaxte Studentenzeit? 40 Stunden Arbeit die Woche sind wirklich nicht zu unterschätzen … und mein Blog muss drunter leiden … ich gelobe Besserung! Heute habe ich für euch ein paar schöne Zara-Outfits mit Farbe. Ich hab’ mir neulich auch meine erste rote Hose zugelegt und muss sagen, dass so ein kräftiger Farbklecks ein Outfit ordentlich aufpeppen kann! Und jetzt, wo Colour Blocking hip ist, können es ja auch diverse Farbkleckse sein. Mehr Bilder, wie immer, nach dem Klick.

Where are they, the relaxed times of being a student? I really underestimated 40 hours of work per week … and my blog has to suffer … I pledge improvement! Today, I have some great Zara outfits with colours for you. Recently, I bought my first pair of red trousers and I gotta say that such a vibrant blur of colour can fairly spice up an outfit! And now that colour blocking is hip, it can also be sundry blurs of colour. As usually, more pics after the jump.

… und zwar sofort! Die ersten Sonnenstrahlen geben einen guten Vorgeschmack auf Wärme, Eis und Bräune. Und wenn der Sommer dann da ist, hätte ich gern diese Teile von der H&M High Summer Kollektion. Meine Favoriten sind das pinke Top, die farblich passenden Sandalen aber auch das weite, weiße Shirt. *Wannahave* Mehr Bilder der Kollektion gibt’s hier.

I want summer … now! The first sunbeams already give me a taste of heat, icecream and a nice suntan. And when summer’s here, I’d like to have these pieces of H&Ms High Summer collection. Frühlingserwachen

Auch wenn es momentan nicht danach aussieht, aber irgendwann in diesem Jahr (hoffentlich ganz ganz bald!) kommt der Frühling und da heißt es: Mut zur Farbe! Schon ein farbiges Teil lässt den ganzen Look leuchten. Asos macht’s vor. Also nichts wie los, knallige Sachen kaufen und den Winter vertreiben!

Even though it doesn’t look like it at the moment, but sometime this year (hopefully very very soon!) spring is going to come and then it’s time for colour! Only one coloured piece lets your outfit shine. Asos shows how to do it. So go for it, buy some jazzy clothes and banish the winter!

How to wear … shorts

Heute war hier in Stuttgart der erste richtig schöne, sonnige – ja man kann fast sagen warme – Tag in diesem Jahr. Das richtige Wetter also, um einen Post über Shorts zu bringen. Wobei… mit Strumpfhose und Overknee-Strümpfen gehen die ja mittlerweile bei jedem Wetter. Nastygal zeigt jedenfalls, wie man die Dinger richtig kombiniert – sowohl im Alltag, als auch für die Party (Bilder dazu gibt’s nach dem Klick). Ich hab’ mir übrigens neulich neue Shorts gekauft… muss ich euch bei Gelegenheit mal zeigen.

Today was the first really sunny – and you can almost call it warm – day of the year here in Stuttgart. The right weather to post about shorts. Well… by now, combined with tights and overknee socks you can wear them in all weathers. Anyhow, Nastygal shows how you wear them the right way – in your daily routine as well as to a party (see more pics after the jump). Btw, I recently bought a new pair of shorts… need to show them to you some time soon.
