Rauchige Stimme, maskuline Gesichtszüge, eigener Stil – das ist I Blame Coco. Die Tochter von Sting hat bereits einen Song mit der schwedischen Dance-Queen Robyn aufgenommen. Aber auch alleine kann Coco überzeugen. Wenn ihr – wie ich – bis vor wenigen Tagen auch noch nichts von I Blame Coco gehört habt, dann wird es jetzt höchste Zeit! Nach dem Klick gibt’s ihre neue Single “Quicker”. Also anhören und Fan werden!

Husky voice, masculine facial features, unique style – that’s I Blame Coco. Sting’s daughter already recorded a song together with Swedish dance-queen Robyn. Ich bin gestern bei dm auf eine neue Marke gestoßen: MNY – Maybelline New York. Seit April kann man MNY nur bei dm und Budnikowsky kaufen. Wofür MNY steht? Auf ihrer Website sagen sie: “MNY, das steht für 127 Farben, sechs Farbfamilien und sieben Produktfamilien und für unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten in Sachen Make-up und Looks.” Ich hab mich mit der Farbe erstmal zurückgehalten und nur den Lipbalm Nr. 471 in Perlmutt, nude beige gekauft. Man muss ja vorsichtig testen…

Wer kennt sie nicht, die tollen “Wer diese CD mag, könnte auch das mögen”-Aussagen von Amazon und Co.?! Ich mag Chew Lips und die wiederum mögen Malpas und haben bei Facebook deren neue Single gepostet und dazu geschrieben “[...] the new video by our friends Malpas, they are great.” Musste ich natürlich gleich mal reinhören und ich finde auch they are great. Allerdings nur das Lied, das Video dazu nicht so. Aber seht selbst nach dem Klick…

Who doesn’t know these “If you like this CD you might also like that one”-recommendations of Amazon and others?! I like Chew Lips and they like Malpas and posted their new single on Facebook saying “[...] the new video by our friends Malpas, they are great.” So, I immediately listened to it and I have to say that they are great. Eurovision Song Contest

Ich war nie ein Fan des Eurovision Song Contest. Eigentlich bin ich es auch jetzt noch nicht. Aber ich mag “unser” Lied für Oslo – “Satellite” von Lena Meyer-Landrut. Ich finde es ist ein echter Ohrwurm und mal irgendwie was anderes. Ihr könnt das Video hier finden (Einbetten war leider nicht möglich). Ihr könnt mir auch gern ‘nen Comment da lassen und sagen, wie ihr das Lied findet. “Love, oh love, tüdeldüüü…”

I’ve never been a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest. I’m still not a fan. But I like “our” song for Oslo – “Satellite” by Lena Meyer-Landrut. I think it’s quite a catchy tune and it’s kind of different. You can find the video here (embedding was unfortunately not possible). Ich glaube, dass diese Band hier in Deutschland noch recht unbekannt ist und deswegen muss ich jetzt mal Werbung machen für Chew Lips. Die britische Band macht Musik, die man wohl als Electro-Pop beschreiben könnte. Wobei… so’n Hauch von Indie steckt da auch drin.
