Bei der Margit Brandt-Ausstellung, die ich besucht habe, gab es nicht nur ihre Entwürfe zu bewundern, sondern auch ein paar tolle großformatige schwarz-weiß-Fotos aus den 70ern. Deswegen jetzt hier noch ein Post mit diesen Bildern. Nach dem Klick gibt’s wie immer mehr.
The Margit Brandt exhibition that I visited didn’t only show her designs but also some nice black and whit pics in large format back from the 70s. That’s what this post is for: to show those to you. After the jump – as usual.
Gestern auf meiner Kopenhagen-Rundtour war ich unter anderem in dem Laden, den ihr hier auf dem Bild seht. Keine Ahnung, wie er hieß, aber er war toll! Kissen, Taschen und alles mögliche an Klimbim – wunderschön! Das meiste davon handgemacht und daher leider auch wunderteuer; soll heißen ich hab da nix gekauft. Aber die Bilder wollte ich euch trotzdem nicht vorenthalten.
Yesterday on my Copenhagen round tour I visited this small shop that you can see on this pic. I don’t know the name, but it was amazing! Pillows, bags and so much more small deer – gorgeous! Most of the stuff was handmade so it was sadly too expensive to buy something. But I wanted to show you the pics nevertheless.
Olivia Palermo, bekannt durch die MTV-Realityshow “The City”, hat einen guten Fang gemacht. An ihrer Seite seht ihr das deutsche Männermodel Johannes Huebl. Nicht schlecht… Gefunden hab ich das Bild bei Daring Fashion, dem tollen Blog von Saskia. Sie hat sogar noch ein Video der beiden Turteltäubchen und natürlich noch viele andere schöne Sachen – vorbeigucken lohnt sich.
Olivia Palermo from MTV’s reality show “The City” made a scoop. With her is German male model Johannes Huebl. Not bad… I found the pic on Daring Fashion, Saskia’s great blog. She also has a video of the two lovebirds and of course a lot of other great stuff to see – take a look.
Ich hatte heute – korrekterweise muss man sagen gestern, denn es ist 00:03 Uhr – ein Stündchen Zeit durch die Stadt zu bummeln. Wahnsinn, überall krasser Sale! Die drei Teile, die ihr hier seht, hab ich erstanden – für insgesamt 22€! Was genau ich gekauft hab verrat ich euch später… jetzt geht’s erstmal ins Bett.
Today – actually yesterday, because it’s 00:03 o’clock – I had one hour to walk through the city. And it’s Sale everywhere! I bought the three pieces that you can see here for 22€ – altogether! I’ll show you the stuff in detail later… now I go to sleep.

… kann ich aber nicht. Ansonsten würde ich diese Vasen und die Gießkanne schon ganz gern haben. Mein Geldbeutel freut sich jetzt wohl darüber, dass ich keinen grünen Daumen hab. Nach dem Klick gibt’s übrigens noch ein zweites Bild mit ‘nem Memoboard was ich schon lange mag. Klar, sowas kann man bestimmt auch selbst machen, aber ich hab nicht nur keinen grünen Daumen sondern kann noch dazu auch nicht basteln. Schade. I’m not good with flowers. If I was, I would love to have these vases and this watering can. My wallet might like that I don’t have green fingers. Fo war Teil der 12. Staffel von America’s Next Topmodel (gerade ist die 14. Staffel zu Ende gegangen). Sie hat nicht gewonnen, aber modelt dennoch erfolgreich. Kein Wunder bei den Maßen 86-64-91! Für mich war sie damals eine Favoritin und umso erfreulicher finde ich es da natürlich, dass sie auch ohne den Titel “America’s Next Topmodel” eine Karriere gestartet hat.

Fo was part of the 12th cycle of America’s Next Topmodel (the 14th cycle has just ended some days ago). She didn’t win but is nevertheless a successful model. No wonder, with her measurements of 86-64-91! She was my favourite at cycle 12 and I’m glad she started a career even without the title “America’s Next Topmodel”.

Sorry. Long time no see… Berlin letzte Woche war toll! Freitag war ich ein bisschen am Kudamm shoppen (nix großes, nur zwei Oberteile bei H&M, von denen zumindest eins hier bestimmt noch einen Post kriegt), abends dann im “Glashaus”, was in ‘ner alten Halle direkt neben dem Badeschiff liegt. Coole Location. Und Samstag hat es uns zum letzten Tag des “Meltklub” verschlagen. Da gab’s dann Delphic und Zootwoman live! Vor allem letztere haben richtig gerockt! Sorry. Long time no see… Berlin last week was amazing! I was shopping at Kudamm on Friday (nothing special, just two shirts at H&M; I think one of them will be getting a post here soon) and at “Glashaus” in the evening. That club is located in an old hall next to the Badeschiff. Pretty cool. On Saturday, we visited the last day of “Meltklub” and got to see Delphic and Zootwoman live! Endlich, endlich, endlich sind sie wieder da: “The City” und “The Hills” sind zurück! Natürlich erstmal nur im Englischen Original bei MTV.com, aber das ist sowieso viel besser als das schlecht synchronisierte Deutsche. Seit gestern laufen die neuen Staffeln und ich hab selbst noch nicht reingeschaut, aber das wird jetzt gleich passieren… *freu*
Finally, finally, finally they’re back: “The City” and “The Hills” are on screen again! For now only in the English original at MTV.com, but that’s better than the German sync anyway. The new seasons started yesterday and I didn’t watch them yet. But I’m gonna do this in a few minutes… *yai*
