Ja, mein Geburtstag ist zwar schon eine Weile her, aber die Geschenke haben es irgendwie noch nicht auf den Blog geschafft. Es gab unter anderem diese beiden Schmuckstücke von meinem Liebsten. Das Armband aus Metallkugeln ist von Fashionology.nl und die allertollste Schleifchenkette der Welt von ilovevintage.nl. Offensichtlich treffen die Niederländer mit Schmuck immer meinen Geschmack …

I know, my birthday was a while ago but somehow my presents didn’t make it to the blog – until now. I got, among other things, these two trinkets from my sweetheart. The bracelet made out of metal balls is from Fashionology.nl and the bettermost bow necklace in the world is from ilovevintage.nl. Obviously the Dutchmen create jewellery just to my taste …

Heute wollte ich endlich mal sehen, was es mit dem Instagram-Hype auf sich hat. Also iPhone zur Hand, installiert und fotografiert. Und ich muss sagen: I like! Oben seht ihr übrigens meinen tollen Keramikring aus Amsterdam und meinen neu errungenen Schnäppchen-Armreif von Nanu Nana. Und wenn ihr wissen wollt, was ich heute Nachmittag gemacht habe, findet ihr noch ein Bild nach dem Klick.

Today, I finally wanted to find out what the Instagram hype is all about. So I grabbed my iPhone, installed the app and took pics. And I gotta say: I like! Above, you can see my great ceramic ring from Amsterdam and my new bargain bracelet from Nanu Nana. And if you wanna know what I did this afternoon … you’ll find another pic after the jump.

I had a great, sunny afternoon with friends at an Hungarian café here in Berlin.

Erinnert ihr euch noch an die Hotpicks-Aktion bei der ich mitgemacht habe? Gewinnerin der Paris-Reise bin ich noch nicht, aber ein hübsches Charm-Armband hat mich schon erreicht. Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen: Es ist schöner, als ich es erwartet hätte und ich trage es tatsächlich fast jeden Tag. Do you remember the Hotpicks competition I participated in? I’m not the winner of the trip to Paris, yet. But I already received a pretty charm bracelet. I gotta be honest: It looks way better than I thought it would and I wear it almost everyday. Especially the very kind packaging with a handwritten card made it unique. Thanks a lot, Stylight team! Bester Freund der Welt – Part 2

Bereits meine vor kurzem vorgestellte Lederjacke war ja ein vorgezogenes Geburtstagsgeschenk von meinem lieben Freund. Gestern gab es noch einen zweiten Teil – dieses tolle Armband, was zu meinen Favourites bei Fashionology zählte. Jetzt hab ich es! Toll! Passt optimal und die Qualität ist wirklich gut… davon wünsch ich mir immer wieder gern etwas!

I’ve already shown you the gorgeous leather jacket that I got from my boyfriend as an early birthday present. I got another present yesterday – this amazing bracelet that was one of my favourites of Fashionology. It’s mine now! Great! It fits perfectly and the quality is very good… worth wishing!

Grossgestreift statt Kleinkariert

Ich habe eine Kategorie die sich “Look of the Day” nennt, aber ich habe sie bisher noch nicht benutzt. Deswegen jetzt an dieser Stelle mein gestriges Abendoutfit für eine Geburtstags-/Einweihungsparty: weiß-grau gestreifter Wohnpulli von H&M (für sagenhafte 7,99£ in Leeds erstanden), Leggings von Zara, Schuhe von TK Maxx (ebenfalls aus Leeds), Nerd-Brille von Ebay.

I defined a category named “Look of the Day” but I never used it before. So now the first post for this category with my outfit of yesterday for a birthday/initiation party: cross-striped sweater from H&M (I got it in Leeds for just 7,99£), leggings from Zara, shoes from TK Maxx (got them in Leeds, too), Nerd-glasses from Ebay.

Noch eine schöne Website die ich euch nicht vorenthalten möchte: Fashionology. Hier gibt es originelle Ringe, Ohrringe, Armbänder und Ketten. Und das Beste daran: Die Preise für Ketten & Co. starten schon bei 5€, das teuerste Teil kostet 65€. Im obigen Bild seht ihr übrigens ein paar meiner Lieblingsteile… Ich sollte da wirklich unbedingt mal bestellen!
