Die Kollektion von Mary-Kate und Ashley Olsen ist vor allem eins: schlicht. Klassische Schnitte und Farben, keinerlei Muster oder wilde Kombinationen. Sehr streng wirkt der Look nicht nur durch die hochgeschlossenen Blusen sondern auch durch das eher männlich anmutende Schuhwerk des Models. Einzelne Teile wie Blazer, Hosen oder Shirts ließen sich aber sicher prima mit einigen meiner Kleidungsstücke kombinieren… Die ganze Kollektion gibt’s hier.
The collection of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen is first and foremost: simple. Classic styles and colours, no patterns or wild combinations. The look appears to be very staunchly not only because of the high-necked blouses but also because of the masculine seeming footwear of the model. Nevertheless, single pieces like blazer, trousers or shirts would look great with some of my wardrobe… See the whole collection here.

Die New York Fashion Week ist vorbei und meine favorisierte Kollektion für Spring/Summer 2011 ist die von Vera Wang. Edle Stoffe, schlichte Farben, tolle Schnitte. Schwarz dominiert die Kollektion, was für Frühjahr/Sommer vielleicht etwas schwer erscheint. Zum jetzigen Wetter passen die Entwürfe aber sehr gut und ich mag schwarz ja sowieso ganz gerne. New York Fashion Week is over and my favourite collection for Spring/Summer 2011 is from Vera Wang. Precious fabrics, simple colours, great cuts. Black is the dominant colour of the collection, which might seem a little grave for Spring/Summer. But the designs go perfect with the current weather and I like black anyhow. Ich bin durch die Copenhagen Fashion Week auf ein tolles Label aufmerksam geworden: American Retro. Richtig schöne tragbare Mode machen die! Die auf der CFW vorgestellte Kollektion für 2011 hat das gezeigt, aber auch die diesjährige Kollektion finde ich sehr hübsch! Due to Copenhagen Fashion Week, I took notice of a great label: American Retro. They produce beautiful wearable fashion! The collection for 2011, presented at CFW, showed that and I also really like this year’s collection a lot! That’s why you can see some pics of the “Collection Eté 2010″ above and after the jump.
Sex Sells! Natürlich auch beim Verkauf von Jeans. Welche sexy Körper packt man also in seine Jeans um sie an den Mann und die Frau zu bringen? Offensichtlich die von Germany’s Next Topmodel-Kandidatin Hana Nitsche und Model-Urgestein Marcus Schenkenberg. Ich finde die beiden geben ein wirklich gutes Werbepärchen ab. Und bei mir wirkt der Trick: Ich hätte jetzt gern so eine Jeans…
