Zum Start ins Wochenende gibt’s mal wieder ein bisschen gute Musik auf die Ohren: Katy B. Falls ihr die Musik der 22-jährigen Britin noch nicht kennt, dann wird es höchste Zeit! Auf ihre Lieder gestoßen bin ich im vergangenen Jahr und in diesem Sommer habe ich sie live bei ihrem ersten Deutschlandkonzert auf dem Melt! Festival gesehen und festgestellt, dass die junge Frau wirklich was drauf hat! Ihre neue Single “Witches Brew” als Live-Version gibt’s nach dem Klick.

Sorry, dass das mit meiner geplanten Besserung hier noch nicht so recht klappen wollte … ich muss an meinem Zeitmanagement irgendwie was ändern … Aber jetzt gibt’s erstmal ein bisschen Liebe für euch in Form von feinstem neuen Elektropop von Digitalism. “2 Hearts” ist die offizielle Melt-Festival-Hymne des Jahres und ich muss wirklich sagen: Der Song geht vom Ohr in die Beine und bleibt direkt im Gedächtnis. Ich gebe es zu: Im Februar war ich eine miese Bloggerin. Aber es hat sich sooo unheimlich viel getan! Ich habe einen Praktikumsplatz im wunderschönen Berlin ergattert, ich hab’ meine eigenen vier Wände – bye bye, WG-Zeiten – und seit heute bin ich offiziell gemeldete Berlinerin! Und das wird gefeiert mit einem Song von Berliner Jungs: Bullmeister mit ihrer neuen Single “Girls Beautiful” – nach dem Klick.

I admit that I’ve been a lousy blogger in February. But sooo many things have changed! I got an internship in our beautiful capital Berlin, I live in my own small apartment – bye bye shared flat times – and from today on I’m officially a Berlin girl! And that’s going to be celebrated with a song of Berlin boys: Bullmeister with their new Single “Girls Beautiful” – after the jump.

Ja, ich weiß, in letzter Zeit ist es recht musiklastig hier. Aber ich kann ja auch nix dafür, dass gerade so viel tolle Musik gemacht wird. Heute gibt’s eine weitere Single aus Beth Ditto’s erstem Soloalbum. Sie heißt “Open Heart Surgery” und anhören könnt ihr sie – wie immer – nach dem Klick. Es lohnt sich!

Mein Lied zum Sonntag: “Seek Bromance” vom schwedischen Jung-DJ Tim Berg. Ich gebe zu, es ist ein bisschen Mainstream-House-Musik, aber ich finde das macht nix. Gutes Lied, zu dem man einfach mal steil gehen kann. Und es bringt Sommerfeeling. Das Video gibt’s nach dem Klick.

My Sunday song: “Seek Bromance” of the young Swedish DJ Tim Berg. Yes, it’s a bit mainstream house music but I don’t care. I think it’s a good song to rock the dancefloor. And it conveys some summer feeling. See the video after the jump.

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für tolle Musik. Ich habe euch vor einer Weile The Temper Trap schon mal ans Herz gelegt und das tue ich nun erneut. Weil die einfach rocken. Diesmal gibt’s den Song “Soldier On” und der ist echt ein Werk. Geht langsam und leise los und wird von Minute zu Minute besser. Hört’s euch an, nach dem Klick.

Es gibt was schönes neues von meiner musikalischen Lieblingsschwedin Robyn. “Indestructible” heißt ihr neues Werk und es ist natürlich wieder ein fantastischer Ohrwurm: drei Mal gehört und schon kriegt ihr den Song nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Das heiße Video gibt’s nach dem Klick.
