Da es lange keinen Beauty-Post gab, dachte ich mir, ich zeig euch heut mal meine Tagescreme. Die war superbillig, kann aber superviel. Nämlich Feuchtigkeit spenden, die Haut bräunen und abdecken. Achja, UV-Schutz hat sie auch noch. Also ist es eigentlich sogar 4 in 1. Was will man mehr?
I didn’t write a beauty post for some time, so I thought I’m gonna show you my day creme right now. It was super cheap but it can do a lot. It moisturises, bronzes and it conceals your skin. Oh, and it even contains UV-protection. So it’s not only 3 but 4 in 1. What else could you need?

Das ist der Grund, aus dem ich am Mittwoch eigentlich beim dm war. Nicht Lipbalm, sondern einen neuen Mascara brauchte ich. Da ich zuletzt auch einen Manhattan-Mascara hatte – “Volcano Explosive Volume” – und damit sehr zufrieden war, hab ich auch dieses Mal bei Manhatten Ausschau gehalten. Und da der “Intense Look” im letzten Jahr mit einem “Glammy” ausgezeichnet wurde und das Bürstchen auch schön nach Volumen aussieht, hab ich mich einfach mal für den entschieden. Morgen wird getestet.
This is the reason for my dm visit this week. I wasn’t looking for lipbalm but for a new mascara. My last one was from Manhattan – “Volcano Explosive Volume” – and I was highly pleased with it, so I was looking for a new one from Manhattan. The “Intense Look” received a “Glammy” last year and the brush really looks like it adds a lot of volume to your lashes, so I bought that one. It’s testing day tomorrow.

Ich bin gestern bei dm auf eine neue Marke gestoßen: MNY – Maybelline New York. Seit April kann man MNY nur bei dm und Budnikowsky kaufen. Wofür MNY steht? Auf ihrer Website sagen sie: “MNY, das steht für 127 Farben, sechs Farbfamilien und sieben Produktfamilien und für unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten in Sachen Make-up und Looks.” Ich hab mich mit der Farbe erstmal zurückgehalten und nur den Lipbalm Nr. 471 in Perlmutt, nude beige gekauft. Man muss ja vorsichtig testen…

Ich hab was Neues für meine Nägel. Diesmal kein Lack, sondern Feilen. Die “Happy Nails” von BeYu ist zum Kürzen und Abrunden der Nägel – braucht man also immer. Die “4-Step Polishing File” von p2 zaubert in 4 Schritten glänzende Nägel – wenn man also mal keine Lust hat zu Lackieren ist das die optimale Alternative.
I got new stuff for my nails. This time it’s no polish but files. The “Happy Nails” file of BeYu is to trim and round your nails – always important. The “4-Step Polishing File” of p2 is – as the name might indicate – to polish your nails and give them a shine. So that’s the right thing if you’re not in the mood for nail polish.

Ostern ist vorbei und es gab ein paar schöne Kleinigkeiten! Unter anderem diese “luxury cream soap” von Vivian Gray, erhältlich bei Douglas. Riecht ganz lecker… irgendwie nach ‘ner Mischung aus Lavendel, Mandel und schönem Parfum. Und außerdem sieht der Seifenspender ja mal richtig edel aus! Luxusseife eben…
Easter is over and I received some nice little goodies. Among other things this “luxury cream soap” from Vivian Gray, available at Douglas. Smells really good… somehow like a mixture of lavender, almond and nice perfume. And above all, this soap dispenser looks very noble! Well, luxury cream soap…

Wenn ich hier über Beauty geschrieben hab, ging es bis jetzt fast nur um Nagellack. Daher ist es nun mal an der Zeit euch mein Make-up zu präsentieren und es zu loben, denn es hält was es verspricht: es ist langhaftend, federleicht, mattiert und sieht dabei noch schön natürlich aus. Die Rede ist vom “Clinique superfit makeup” in 07 honey (MF-G). Gibt’s für 27€ z.B. bei Douglas und ich finde, dass es jeden Cent wert ist. Ich bin seit bestimmt zwei oder drei Jahren treue Kundin!

Der Frühling kommt – zumindest auf meine Nägel. Gegen das momentane Grau draußen muss man ja irgendwie ankämpfen. Also habe ich mir zwei neue Lacke in tollen Farben gekauft. Zum einen “High Gloss Nail Colour” von Rival de Loop, Farbton 21; ich würde die Farbe als irgendwas zwischen rosa, pink und lila beschreiben. Himbeer trifft es vielleicht ganz gut. Der zweite Lack ist “Nail Polish” von H&M in einem schönen pastelligen Türkiston. Welchen probier ich nur zuerst aus…?
Spring is coming – at least on my nails. I have to fight the Grey weather somehow. So I bought two new fabulous colours of nail polish. The first one is “High Gloss Nail Colour” from Rival de Loop, shade 21; I would say it’s a mixture between rose, pink and purple. Rasberry-ish maybe. The second one is “Nail Polish” from H&M in a great pastel turquoise colour. Which one do I try first…?

Ich möchte euch an dieser Stelle kurz meinen Lieblingsnagellack präsentieren. Er ist von Urban Outfitters, trägt den Namen “Sparkle & Fade” und taucht die Nägel in ein schönes Grau. Nicht so aufdringlich wie schwarz aber auch nicht so alltäglich wie ein Pastellton.
I wanna show you my favourite nail colour. You can get it at Urban Outfitters, it’s named “Sparkle & Fade” and bathes your nails in a beautiful grey. Not as loud as black but also not as ordinary as a pastel colour.

Ich habe Ewigkeiten nach einem Nude-Lippenstift gesucht und hatte die Hoffnung schon fast aufgegeben… Immer waren die Farbtöne eher braun oder orange aber eben nicht “Nude”. Doch vor kurzem bin ich endlich fündig geworden und zwar im Kosmetik-Regal von “Manhattan”. Der Lippenstift heißt “Intense Moisture & Gloss” und der Farbton “53G”. Das schöne daran ist nicht nur die Farbe, sondern – wie der Name vielleicht schon verrät – der glossige Glanz. Hält wie ein Lippenstift und schimmert wie ein Lipgloss. Top!
I’ve been looking for a nude-lipstick for ages and almost thought that I would never find one… The colours of all the lipsticks I tested always looked brown or orange but never “Nude”. However, I finally found the perfect lipstick. It’s from “Manhattan” called “Intense Moisture & Gloss”, colour “53G”. It’s not only the coulour that is perfect but also the glossy shine. Resistant like a lipstick and shiny like a lipgloss. Great!
